How to use our DSC Differential Scanning Calorimeter?
1. Samples are prepared and placed in their own crucible for heating; appropriate sample sizes are usually 5-20 mg.
2. Calibration should be performed using standard materials (e.g., indium) to provide measurement accuracy.
3. Parameters must be set in the software: heating rates, temperature ranges, and the type of analysis must be defined.
4. Start with the device: Turn it on, check the heat flow changes in real-time, and note down data.
5. The heat flow curve is used to investigate material thermal properties using data analysis software.
